It's more about being free and alive under less than optimum conditions. In other words: working under pressure. The pressure of auditions. The pressure of being on the set. The pressure of acting with established stars and directors, who frankly, don't have the time or inclination to hold your hand through the rough spots. And most of all... the pressure we put on ourselves to be good. To be perfect. Perfection kills creativity. And it definitely kills all the fun.
In my class, you'll learn to let go of perfection and have fun again in your acting. And believe me... that is more than half the battle. If you can PLAY in your work, you'll get noticed and book the job. You'll start to relish the pressure and say, BRING IT ON! Classes are week nights between 7pm and 10:30. Intermediate to Advanced. Enrollment is 200.00 @ mo. PRIVATE LESSONS Students and actors who coach for their auditions have a much better chance of booking the job. No auditions? Private tune-ups are always helpful in a slump. Private sessions run $50.00 an hour.
